Systems Engineering

Systems engineering and management education is an essential ingredient in today’s high-tech industries. Our industry partners tell us there is a growing need for engineering and management training in complex systems that have many interdependent parts and significant organizational and/or societal impact.

 

The Department of Systems Engineering at UT Dallas focuses on research and curriculum in the fundamentals of systems engineering and management, with applications in interdisciplinary areas of interest to industry such as energy systems, financial engineering systems, software systems, healthcare systems, cyber security systems, control and mechatronic systems, and others. We offer an unparalleled master’s degree in Systems Engineering and Management, a joint program with the UT Dallas Jindal School of Management.
