Future Comets

The Future Comets Program, hosted by the Department of Community Engagement, is a college readiness initiative focused on math and STEM preparation for middle and high school students in Dallas and Richardson ISDs. The program offers math enrichment classes, leadership development workshops, and activities designed to introduce student to STEM careers. The goal of the program is to help student graduate from high school ready enroll in a rigorous college curriculum.

This year, the program will serve more than 100 students through virtual sessions. In order to be successful in their math course, every student will need a TI-Nspire CX calculator. The cost of a calculator is $150. Your support will help us provide a calculator to each student regardless of their family’s economic situation.

Your support will have a long-lasting impact by providing an important tool for our students’ success in their math courses.
