The University of Texas at Dallas Student Wellness Center promotes healthy behaviors to students through evidence-based educational programs and individual consultations.
The Student Wellness Center believes that the reduction of harmful health behaviors and proactive preventative health measures among students will contribute to academic excellence and successful UT Dallas alumni.
UT Dallas students receive prevention and education services related to the following topics from the Student Wellness Center:
- Alcohol and Drug Education
- Tobacco Education
- Healthy Body Image
- Eating Disorders
- Sexual Health
- Healthy Relationships
- Bystander Intervention
- Sexual Misconduct- Including sexual assault prevention, consent education, dating violence prevention, stalking awareness and sexual harassment awareness
- Stress Management
- Suicide Prevention
The Student Wellness Center hopes to continue current initiatives and conduct ongoing research that will contribute to future evidence-based health promotion initiatives for students. We also strive to add additional support services needed for our student population.
You have the opportunity through your donation to help the Student Wellness Center continue to research, develop, and implement evidence-based health promotion services the UT Dallas students.
Our goal is to raise $30,000. However, the more we raise the more we can support our students.
