More than 1,100 students are enrolled in the bachelor’s degree program, and over 170 are at the master’s and doctoral level this year. An impressive achievement from our humble beginnings of 11 undergraduates in 2008!
Led by faculty members with industry experience and innovative research programs, our graduates are prepared for careers in various fields, including energy, medicine, defense, aerospace, automotive, electronics, food processing and nano/micro–manufacturing.
This combination of industry and research experience among our faculty combined with strong corporate partners has resulted in 8 national first place awards for our UTDesign Mechanical teams since 2014. It's safe to say "we are the champions".
