The Computer Science General Fund provides critical resources to support student scholarships, faculty research, equipment and infrastructure upgrades, and other initiatives that help advance the field of computer science. The fund allows the department to be more flexible and responsive to emerging needs and opportunities, and to pursue strategic initiatives that may not be possible with restricted funding. This includes providing much needed funding to recruit and retain the most qualified undergraduate and graduate students from the United States (domestic) as well as abroad (foreign).
