Our Mission is to Demystify AI through Empowerment and Education.

Giving Goal # 1: $1,000 - Udemy Course (online learning platform)

Our proficient students in Artificial Intelligence (AI) learn about AI through online courses like Udemy and Coursera. However, these courses are locked behind a paywall, so we want to generate funds to cover the cost of using the software so that more students can have access to this emerging education.

Giving Goal # 2: $2,000 – Create a Artificial Intelligence Mentorship Program

We would develop a program that will link a AI mentor and student to learn and work on a project about AI. Running Artificial Intelligence programs are intensive and requires a powerful system. Therefore, with this goal, we can provide students with access to the Amazon Web Services or a cloud program that will run our all AI program the students make. This would enable students to access this experience at no additional cost to themselves.

Giving Goal # 3 $5,000 HackAI, our annual Hackathon

Our annual hackathon brings together members of the UTD and North Texas community to develop new approaches to solving real world problems in a highly collaborative environment. The total cost for the event ranges between $15,000 to $20,000, the support we're seeking on Comets Giving Day will provide us even more opportunity to educate the community and expand awareness of the emerging positive potential of Artificial Intelligence.

Our student organization believes that Artificial Intelligence will change the work force and with your support we'll be able to better prepare UTD students harness the potential of AI to bridge language divides, transform government, deliver more efficient and costly health care and enhance the potential of artists. AI is a tool, we want to train the UTD students who will use this tool to change the world.
