Dance

The dance program at UT Dallas allows students to immerse themselves in a variety of courses, including two levels of ballet, jazz and modern dance; dance composition; dance appreciation and history; conditioning for dancers; dance in musical theatre and dance performance. 

The UT Dallas Dance Ensemble is an audition-based opportunity for dancers and/or choreographers and requires enrollment in DANC 3342, Advanced Topics in Dance. Students are able to benefit from technique and conditioning, composition and performance opportunities, our Residency Program, American College Dance Festival Association Regional Festivals, and learning historical aspects of dance.
