International Center

The International Center brings the world to UT Dallas and UT Dallas to the world.

We provide access to quality international education that impacts all of UT Dallas by building and cultivating strategic partnerships locally and abroad; supporting the success of international students and scholars; and developing safe and meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to interact with peers and colleagues across the globe.

The UT Dallas International Center is organized administratively into three major offices: International Education, International Students and Scholars, and International Initiatives.

The International Center is fundraising for two initiatives this year: the International Student Emergency Fund and Education Abroad.

International Student Emergency Fund

The International Student Emergency Fund (ISEF) is managed by the International Student Services Office and was established to support F-1 international students at UT Dallas.

This fund provides financial assistance to international students experiencing unforeseen and unexpected circumstances that require financial resources to solve and which, if not addressed, could prohibit the student from remaining enrolled and persisting toward graduation. The average assistance provided is between $300 and $500 and may help with situations such as:

  • USCIS economic hardship and other work authorization applications
  • Housing and food insecurity
  • Medical expenses
  • Costs to travel home
  • Other unexpected necessities

Education Abroad

The Education Abroad Fund is managed out of the Office of International Education and was established to provide financial support to UT Dallas students participating in education abroad programs.

The International Center is dedicated to providing opportunities for students from around the globe to come to UT Dallas to study and for UT Dallas students to become global citizens through experiences both locally and abroad.

Our International Student Emergency Fund supports currently enrolled international students who are facing unexpected challenges which may require financial assistance. Your donation to the ISEF helps an international student overcome a variety of barriers so that they can stay in the U.S., get their degree, and pursue their dreams.

Our Education Abroad office provides UT Dallas students with opportunities to visit, study, and learn about cultures across the globe. These types of opportunities prepare students to lead in our increasingly globally interconnected and diverse world. Your donation to Education Abroad helps even more students participate in a life-changing experience abroad.
