Your donations to this fund will help the new Department of Sustainable Earth Systems Sciences (formerly Geosciences) pivot to new directions in Sustainable Earth, Environment, and Natural Resources. This includes supporting new courses, workshops, fieldwork, and research experiences for undergraduate and graduate students who wish to apply modern earth science methods to help solve the US National Academies "Grand Challenges Facing Society" and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs),” including clean and NetZero energy, critical minerals and materials, secure water resources, environmental protection and remediation, climate change and climate mitigation.
