2022 Jonsson School Dean’s Initiative Giving Day Description:
The priority for the 2021 – 2022 academic year in the Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas is to improve the educational experience of our students. As faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of UT Dallas, I encourage you to think about our students’ needs, what challenges they face, and how you can support their dreams as they evolve into engineers and computer scientists.
Partner with the Jonsson School this Comets Giving Days to participate in our mission of 2022: L.A.U.N.C.H. (Leveraging our Attention to Undergraduate and Graduate Student Needs, Challenges and Hopes.)
Your gift this year will provide impact to our students across the Jonsson School with a primary focus on:
- Support for student success initiatives such as orientation, peer mentoring, tutoring, and our recently launched undergraduate teaching assistant program.
- Support for 30+ Jonsson School student organizations where students can further their educational knowledge by refining technical, innovative and entrepreneurial skills.
- Scholarships and fellowships for our students who need financial support to finish their degree.
As we continue to grow, our priority will always remain the same: to L.A.U.N.C.H. our students toward success!
