
The Center for Translation Studies was founded in 1980 to promote communication between languages and cultures, to introduce international writers to an English-speaking audience, and to establish a literary translation program within the School of Arts and Humanities. The mission of the Center is to pursue excellence in all four cornerstones of our mission: teaching, research, publications, and public outreach.
