Electrical and Computer Engineering

Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) graduates are uniquely qualified for rewarding and successful careers in a diverse range of electrical and computer engineering fields, including materials, devices, circuits, digital systems, signal/speech/image processing, and communications.

As ECE Alumni look ahead to promising careers, they also see the value of offering a hand up to those following in their footsteps.

"I completed my graduate study with the assistantship from ECE and fully understood the financial importance. Each gift can help some students to be one step closer to their goals."

-Yonghua Liu, PhDEE 2006

Your support of UTD ECE will make a difference for students. 100% of your support goes directly to undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. Join the current of generosity, where together, even small gifts can make a big impact for UTD Electrical and Computer Engineering students.

Any size gift will make a difference towards these initiatives:

ECE Department General Fund

Encourage the next generation of engineers by helping ECE’s labs remain state of the art. Resources are provided to help students succeed academically, and to provide any other items needed to aid in the success of the ECE department at the discretion of the department head.

"I gave back to help support the education of our next generation of engineers at UTD. The skills, knowledge, and technical acumen gained from the ECE curriculum have been immensely valuable for my own career and I hope our current students can find even more success."

- Francisco Guadalupe BSEE 2012, MSEE 2014

ECE Scholarships & Fellowships

Inspire ECE students with your generosity. Affirm their dreams as you directly invest in student’s futures through scholarships and fellowships.
"I am rooting for our current students and prospective technologists. Giving back promotes a virtuous cycle for their success."

- Anish Nair MSEE 2010, PhDEE 2016
