Jindal Young Scholars Program

The purpose of the Jindal Young Scholars Program is to prepare traditionally socioeconomically disadvantaged students for admission into four-year colleges and universities by addressing critical student needs, promoting a culture of academic excellence, and instilling a mindset of achievement.

Funding priorities include:

Provide support for all JYSP Scholarship recipients to help ensure their success as UTD JSOM students
Collaborate with all five DISD partner high schools to create customized programming to be carried out for Jindal Young Scholars at the high school level
Continue to increase visibility of JYSP in the community for increased awareness and support
Continue to build capacity of JYSP to ensure its ongoing success
