As Mechanical Engineering enters the second growth phase of the department under the new leadership of Dr. Joshua Summers, we are excited to build on the successes of the past decade. From our humble beginnings in 2008 with 11 undergraduates, we now boast 1,129 undergraduates and 173 graduate students who call ME home!

Your donation can have an immediate impact on sustaining current programs, initiating new efforts, and establishing UTD Mechanical Engineering as an elite US public program.

We look forward to increasing the industry engagement, establishing new undergraduate research and design experiences, creating sustainable graduate fellowships, recruiting top faculty, and retaining our excellent staff.
