COMETS GIVING DAYS 2026

All $100 gifts given on April 7-8 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000!

On April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all faculty and staff gifts of $26 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $2,600. Plant your seed of support and watch your impact double!

For every 100 alumni who make a gift, an additional $500 will be unlocked and given to one group at random! The more alumni that give, the more bonus funds awarded!

Join us during iWeek for a hands-on volunteer event supporting future Comets! We’ll pack supply kits to help incoming international students feel welcomed and prepared as they settle in at UT Dallas. Each year, more than a thousand students arrive with limited belongings, and this event offers comfort and community. In partnership with Comets Giving Days, we’re uniting service and philanthropy. Hosted by UT Dallas Alumni, Office of Student Volunteerism, and Intercultural Programs. Passport to the World kicks off iWeek on April 6 with an international festival featuring food, music, and cultural showcases. Stop by the Plinth between 1-3 p.m. to vote for “Best in Show,” with $300 in Comets Giving Days bonus funds awarded. Visit the UT Dallas Alumni booth to learn about Comets Giving Days and enjoy snacks and giveaways.

For every gift — monetary or in‑kind — made during the drive, an additional $10 will be donated and split between UT Dallas’ Comet Cupboard and Basic Needs Resource Center.

The first seed is planted! Be the very first to give on 4/7 and unlock $50 in bonus funds for your favorite participating group.

Deep roots, bold growth. The 1,969th gift honors our founding year and triggers $50 in bonus funds to your favorite Comets Giving Days group.

Shoot for the stars and beat our 2025 total. The 3,150th gift unlocks $100 in bonus funds that launch even more impact for one of our Comets Giving Days groups.

The top three UT Dallas student organizations that receive the most gifts from alumni will receive an additional $1000, $750, $250 in bonus funds! Get your alumni involved and excited!

Rediscover your roots! When 100 alumni choose to support any area of UT Dallas on April 7-8, an additional $1,000 will be given to UT Dallas’ Comet Cupboard!

Experience UT Dallas’ global spirit through music, dance, and more at the iWeek Global Talent Show. In partnership with UT Dallas Alumni, $700 in Comets Giving Days bonus funds will be split and awarded to top performers (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Doors open on April 10 at 6:30 p.m., first-come seating. Help the @UTDallasAlumni Instagram account reach 10,000 followers by April 7, 2026 and $500 in bonus funds will be gifted at random to one of our Comets Giving Days groups and announced on April 8. Help the account reach 11,000 followers by the close of giving days on April 8 and an additional $1,000 in bonus funds will be gifted at random and announced on April 9, 2026. Social Comets, activate those networks!

The final flourish! Make the last Comets Giving Days' gift at 6:49 p.m. on 4/8 and earn $100 in bonus funds. Give one final burst of growth to your favorite participating group.

A milestone for this moment! The 2,026th gift activates an additional $50 in bonus funds for one of our participating groups.
