Support the International Center
AT A GLANCE
The International Center expands global access and opportunity across UT Dallas. Through six key units, we support international students and scholars, create global learning experiences, and connect the UT Dallas community with the world:
• International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO)
• Office of International Education (OIE)
• Office of Immigrant and Citizenship Services (OICS)
• Passport Office
• International Initiatives
• UTD Global
Your support helps students succeed, removes barriers, and builds a globally connected campus.
In our 10-year history, the International Center has served thousands of students representing 100+ countries.

WHERE YOUR GIFT MAKES AN IMPACT
You can support the International Center through three different areas:
GLOBAL IMPACT FUND
The Global Impact Fund advances student success and global engagement by providing flexible, responsive support across a range of international and global initiatives. This includes the UT Dallas International Student Emergency Fund (UTDISEF), UT Dallas International Student Application and Scholarship Fund (UTDISASF) and UT Dallas OICS Comet Care Fund (CCF).
Students often face barriers at multiple points in their journey, from application costs and limited funding access to financial, medical or personal emergencies while enrolled.
The Global Impact Fund helps students start strong, stay enrolled and continue toward their academic, professional and global goals.
Your support helps:
• Cover urgent immigration and application expenses
• Support post-graduation pathways, including work authorization
• Assist with emergency medical expenses and basic needs
• Prevent course interruptions due to financial hardship
• Provide recovery support after unexpected crises
• Advance global initiatives that expand access and impact
Without this support, students may be forced to pause or leave school. With it, they stay on track—continuing to learn, contribute and build their future in an interconnected world.
STUDY ABROAD SUPPORT
Join us in expanding global opportunities for every student. Your donation directly empowers students to gain global perspective, build cultural awareness, and gain real world experience that shapes their academic and professional futures.
Your donation helps us:
• Cover essential costs including program fees, travel and housing for students with financial need
• Expand participation in study abroad programs across diverse regions and disciplines
• Prepare students with the resources and guidance needed for a successful experience abroad
GIFT OF TRAVEL (PASSPORT PROGRAM)
This fund helps students obtain their first U.S. passport, removing a key barrier to study abroad and global opportunities. A passport is often the first step toward a life-changing international experience.
Our funding priorities:
• Cover 100% of the $165 application and execution fees for eligible students facing financial hardship
• Remove financial barriers that prevent students from studying abroad and gaining global experiences
• Empower students with resources and guidance to help them take the next step in their international education journey
Open the Door to Global Experiences
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
Your support can go even further.
During Comets Giving Days, some gifts may be matched through university initiatives or employer matching programs, helping extend the reach of every contribution.
Be part of a student’s global journey.
Your support removes barriers, creates opportunity, and helps students succeed when it matters most.
