Build a Strong, Thriving Future Now — Help Us Prioritize Brain Health for Tomorrow’s Leaders
Now more than ever, many of us know young people entering college, striving to learn, and to innovate and feel the rewards and joys of success throughout life. College students need trusted peer support systems to regain cognitive resilience and thrive in a world of ever-changing challenges and opportunities. At UTD’s Center for BrainHealth, we are showing that the latest brain health research elevates the trajectory for these students and their communities through immersion in a brain-healthy culture.
In the rush of daily life, we often overlook the foundational importance of daily brain habits, both on how students learn today, and how they shape their brains for years to come. By taking small, intentional steps — such as prioritizing quality sleep, managing stress, building meaningful connections and fostering curiosity — students can strengthen their cognitive well-being and continuously optimize their potential in ways that can uplift the people around them. This message becomes more credible and impactful when student leaders, as BrainHealth Champions- share it with their campus community.
It is URGENT to act now. Your support will directly fund BrainHealth Student Champions, an interdisciplinary team of UTD student leaders across all majors who are committed to:
Contributing to BrainHealth Student Champions is more than investing in a program; it’s joining a movement to transform brain health across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and wherever the students go for their careers. Together, we can overcome brain health challenges before they become clinically significant, as occurred with the pandemic, by empowering students and their communities with the tools they need to thrive.
Wherever these students go throughout their lives, beyond their time at UTD, your support will help them carry forward a lifelong commitment to brain health. Our greatest hope for a bountiful future is a world where tomorrow’s leaders are prioritizing their brain health today. Invest in the future now.
