Int'l Student Application and Scholarship Fund

International Student Application and Scholarship Fund (UTDISASF)

The UT Dallas International Student Application and Scholarship Fund (UTDISASF) provides limited financial assistance to support high achieving prospective and current UT Dallas international students facing financial hardship in paying fees related to applying and attending UT Dallas. This financial assistance is crucial to international students, as many struggle both with the up-front application fees or difficulties in paying their application fee using international credit cards or payment processes in other countries. Additionally, many students struggle to access scholarships as departmental funds are limited. This fund helps remove financial barriers to come to UT Dallas and will ensure students have a stronger financial prospect when preparing to attend our university.

Our fundraising goal for Comets Giving Days is $10,000. Reaching this goal will allow the UTDISAF to establish itself as an important means for international students to achieve their dreams of attending UT Dallas.

Our immediate funding priorities:

Provide application fee waivers for international students for up to 40 students
Provide $1,000 scholarships for up to 8 students demonstrating academic excellence and financial need
Or a combination of the above that maximizes the fund for students

This support helps us to continue bringing in great talent to our institution and create a global educational experience for all students at UT Dallas as we remove barriers for international students and strengthen our university community.
