The Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) is dedicated to empowering underrepresented students on their journey to medical school by providing mentorship, professional development, and service opportunities. As an organization, we strive to foster a supportive community where aspiring healthcare professionals can grow academically, professionally, and personally while advocating for health equity.
What we're fundraising for
This semester, we are seeking funding to support two key initiatives that align with our mission. First, we aim to attend a regional medical conference, where our members will have the opportunity to network with medical professionals, engage in hands-on workshops, and gain invaluable insight into the medical school application process. Attending this conference is crucial for our members, as it provides access to mentorship and resources that can significantly impact their future careers. Additionally, we are launching a campus-wide mental health initiative to address the growing need for mental health awareness and support among students. Through this initiative, we will provide educational resources, host wellness events, and collaborate with mental health professionals to foster a culture of open dialogue and support.
Your support will directly contribute to these efforts, helping us bridge gaps in opportunity and create meaningful change both within our organization and in our community. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us invest in the future of medicine and support initiatives that promote holistic well-being.
Together, we can make a lasting impact. Thank you for your generosity and belief in our mission!
