WHO WE ARE
The Indian Students Association (ISA) at the University of Texas at Dallas is a vibrant and dynamic organization dedicated to supporting Indian students and celebrating Indian culture on campus. As one of the largest cultural associations at UTD, we serve over 2,500 Indian students, providing a home away from home for those who have travelled thousands of miles to pursue their education.
Our Impact
Our mission is to create a welcoming environment for Indian students at UTD, helping them adjust to life in the United States while maintaining strong connections to their cultural roots. We achieve this through:
• Organizing cultural events and festivals
• Providing support services for new and current students
• Fostering a sense of community among Indian students
• Promoting cultural exchange and awareness on campus
What we're fundraising for:
Indian Students Association Scholarship/Fellowship
This new fund will be utilized to provide annual awards to eligible undergraduate and graduate students from the Jindal School with a preference for students who are active members/volunteers with ISA or were educated in India, The more funds we are able to raise, the greater the number of students who might benefit from this scholarship/fellowship.
Why Your Support Matters
By contributing to our scholarship fund, you will:
• Alleviate financial burdens for talented Jindal School students
• Enhance the academic experience
• Invest in the future of bright minds
• Cultivate a community where we lift each other up
Your support will enable ISA to continue our mission of service and academic excellence. Together, we can ensure that students at UTD have the resources they need to thrive and succeed in their academic journey. Join us in making a difference. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us build a stronger, more supportive community for students at UTD.
