About Women in Cybersecurity

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) at the University of Texas at Dallas is a chapter of the national WiCyS organization that imparts encouragement and resources for women pursuing cybersecurity. We provide students with the opportunity to realize their potential and join an inclusive and collaborative community. We host weekly meetings consisting of workshops, tech talks, networking events, and more!

Why We Need Your Support

Your support will directly help us by:

  • Empowering the next generation of women in cybersecurity
  • Giving young women opportunities to break barriers and build skills

By investing in Women in Cybersecurity, you’re investing in increasing diversity and talent to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity as part of a workforce solution.

Our Goals:

  • Goal #1: $100 – Send one student to the Women in Cybersecurity Conference
  • Goal #2: $250 – Help connect students with mentors and professionals in the cybersecurity field.
  • Goal #3: $500 – Covers workshop materials to support 400 student members for a full semester
