Paper for Water at UT Dallas aims to encourage college students to turn creativity into impact.
Here, we explore the art of kusudamas, Japanese modular origami that both celebrates Asian heritage and invokes a sense of independent craftsmanship. All members are given the option to submit their origami to our organization for sales through our partnered nonprofit, which generates funding to build proper water pumps and fountains. To this day, Paper for Water at UT Dallas has contributed to major projects in places such as the Emenwa primary and secondary schools in Kenya, Navajo Nation, and Sierra Leone. Your support will help us provide tutorials, origami paper distribution, and refreshments at every event free of charge. Join us to combat unsanitary water supplies for our people!
