History at the Bass School brings together students with prize-winning scholars in the shared exploration of the ideas, events and social contexts that have shaped the human past. Students may delve into the histories of various time periods and regions from North and South America to Europe, the Middle East and East Asia. Through deep engagement with the past, history students gain a better understanding of today’s world while developing critical thinking and writing skills that prepare them for a wide range of careers.

Your support helps provide academic resources to expand student opportunities for historical research and learning that prepares them to become scholars, educators and globally engaged citizens.
