Accessible Prosthetics Initiative (API)

The Accessible Prosthetics Initiative

API is a non-profit organization that aims to increase accessibility to prosthetic technology and care. We design and 3D print prosthetics, educate the youth, and build connections across the disabled community to raise awareness and provide accessible care.

API’s primary fundraising goals are:

$1,000 – Purchase equipment and materials for our club to improve and prototype our upper-limb prosthetic designs.
$800 – Purchase a 3D printer to streamline the Production Team’s prototyping phase.
$500 – Travel funds and meal support for members as they volunteer across the DFW area to support amputees and disabled individuals.
