Who we are?

TxBDC develops technologies to prevent injuries, detect impairments, and restore quality of life lost due to neurological injuries and diseases. Our center is committed to the development of affordable and innovative therapies and technologies.

We’re fundraising for support of our research endeavors.

Our impact? 

Researchers at the Texas Biomedical Device Center have developed a breakthrough therapy to help brain injury patients fully reengage in life. Targeted Plasticity Therapy (TPT) uses brain plasticity to “rewire” neural pathways around the injured parts of the brain. TPT allows people to recover motor, sensory and cognitive functions.
