Who We Are
Bangladeshi Student Organization is a voluntary, nonprofit, non-religious and non-political organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status. Any current student, faculty or staff of UTD, who has a firm interest in Bangladesh and the activities of BSO is welcome to join the organization. Our organization acts as a voice of the members, if necessary, to represent the student's rights, needs, interests and opinions to the faculty, staff and administration in regard to furthering their lives while pursuing higher education at UT Dallas.
What We're Fundraising For 
We are raising funds to help incoming international students with scholarship funding. We believe that the scholarship amount will allow them to have minimal student debt. The scholarship will also allow us to have an expansion of our organization.
Our Impact
We offer guidance and support to incoming Bangladeshi students coming to UT Dallas. This might apply to facilities like transit, housing and others. We encourage communication and engagement between the group members and the UT Dallas community. We increase student participation through volunteering on campus and in the community. We make an effort to help Bangladesh through fundraising, student scholarships or other means.
