Originally Collegium V and formally changed to the Hobson Wildenthal Honors College in 2014, the Honors College offers high-achieving UT Dallas students enriching academic experiences from study abroad to National Merit Scholars and the Terry Foundation Scholarship.
The Honors College primary mission is to offer HWHC undergraduate students opportunities such as internships, research, study abroad, culture events, and community outreach programs. Students also have the opportunity to engage with faculty through mentorships, roundtables, and interaction with industry experts.
The Hobson Wildenthal Honors College seeks funding for such programs as:
- Honors Night Out – A cultural experience in downtown Dallas, including dinner
- Mentoring Meals
- Roundtables – Faculty guest speakers, including lunch
- Cultural/Professional Development Trips – D.C., study/research abroad, conferences
- Student-led Activities – Collegium V Council events
